Carnet de Passage. This very important document is available from organisations such as the Automobile Clubs RAC in the UK and ADAC in Germany.
This document makes it possible to import a vehicle temporarily, without paying duties and taxes, in certain countries. The CdP is a guarantee that the vehicle will be exported in time. Is a vehicle not exported and/or the document not stamped at the border when leaving, than all duties and tax will be collected at the issuer of the CdP(RAC/ADAC etc.). Obviously these organisations cover their risk with you again, so you have to understand very clear what the rules and regulations are.
